Anjos Attic

The project is located in Anjos, in an area of very dense urban fabric in the city of Lisbon, Portugal.

The main objective of this project was to explore the feasibility of converting the unused attic space to expand the existing apartment with an additional ensuite bedroom.

Since the existing space represented unusable roof space, it became necessary to introduce new elements in it, in the form of dormer windows and skylights, to allow the entrance of light and to maximize the amount of usable space in the new interior, all without changing the general shape of the existing roof.
