Wellness space FEELGOOD

The project is located in São Bento, one of the most emblematic neighborhoods in the city of Lisbon. The goal of this project was to renovate a two-story commercial space for a new wellness brand called FEELGOOD, offering services such as yoga, beauty parlor, massage and own-brand cosmetics services, as well as health-minded food and drinks.

The main concept was to create a bright and natural-feeling space, complemented by strong use of color in decorative elements and light effects, which fill the space and refract into it through transparent textiles.

Color played a central role in this project. Light tones and natural earthy colors are calming, enhance focus and, at the same time, provide a perfect background for displaying the brand’s products.

Another important aspect of the project was to give the space a distinct character, mostly in the entrance area and the lounge space, so that both space and brand could become easily identifiable and recognisable. The interplay between the various textures, the light-play and the wavy ceiling, visible from outside through the shop window, makes up the identity of the space, which is further enhanced by the reflected light from fluorescent lamps and neon messages in strong colors. 

The interiors were divided by multiple transparent elements. A circular glass feature designed on the main entrance wall provides the yoga room with natural light, creating a comfortable atmosphere in this practice space. Semi-transparent curtains delimiting this space allow light to be transferred onto neighboring compartments.

This space was designed to boast a dynamic and singular identity through its interplay of light and transparencies.
